For a few months I have been working with my art project "Såggatan" as a sidetrack to my commercial works. 15 large objects in handsawn MDF, painted in Acrylics are done. It has been a great journey. These objects will be exhibited in Stockholm, Sweden during may/june 2013. More info will be announced.
These objects are like a diary of my life, to celebrate and preserve a history. It is a unique interpretation painted out of memories from my childhood until today.

I recently illustrated a big celebration to the Swedish "Räkmacka" for Swedawia, Arlanda Shopping (SWE) in collaboration with ACNE (SWE). The illustrated parts are printed as a folder and a poster.

My first book is released. It is a very simple book based on a few colors and shapes. It contains no text and some empty space. You're free to fill in the rest based on your imagination. The book is made with a pencil, ruler and watercolor and printed on a risograph machine in 4 colors.

I will show my first original artwork at Kunsthalle Bern, Schweiz in an exhibition called "Soirée graphique N°5" curated by Komet (CH).
The show runs from 20-21 October 2012.

Been working with Jung Relations (SWE) on some print illustrations for swedens most visited website Blocket. Also finished a big set of illustrations for Italian clothing company SUN68. I'm also involved in an interesting exhibition in October 2012 and will release my first children's book pretty soon. More info will follow about these projects.

Andreas Samuelsson is a graphic illustrator and artist living and working in Göteborg, Sweden. He was born 1978 in Linköping, Sweden. He graduated from Berghs School of Communication in Stockholm 2004.
His company started in Stockholm 2005 with focus on commercial, fashion, editorial illustrations and art which still are the main areas.
